Our Commitment to the Environment
Ecostreamjet addresses environmental stewardship in four important ways: (1) reduce, (2) offset, (3) educate, and (4) influence.
Reduce
Ecostreamjet’s commitment to reduce its carbon output is two-fold: present and future.
Our present commitment is to minimize our total carbon footprint for all company operations. This commitment includes everything from paperless booking through our website to hybrid car services to and from the airport through our partners.
Our future commitment is to (1) fund research and development of alternative fuels and clean energy technologies related to aviation and (2) eventually begin using those less polluting fuels and clean energy technologies. Because we fully recognize the impact of jet fuel emissions on the environment – it’s one of the reasons we started Ecostreamjet – we are committed to ongoing research and development of these fuels and technologies.
Offset
Ecostreamjet is proud to be the first and only U.S. private aviation company to offset all jet fuel used in its domestic and international flights. We have partnered with Native Energy, a leader in high-quality carbon offsets. Through this first-of-its-kind partnership in the private aviation industry, Ecostreamjet supports a variety of domestic alternative energy projects. In addition, Ecostreamjet offers its clients the opportunity to purchase additional carbon credits to offset the remainder of their journey.
Educate
Environmental stewardship starts with setting a good example, but continues with educating others. We are committed to not only making our clients’ air travel greener, but to telling them how we do it and why we do it. We email periodic newsletters to clients (hard copy, printed on FSC certified recycled paper, available upon request) with insights into our operations and suggestions on how to leave a lighter carbon footprint.
Influence
We don’t stop at purchasing offsets. Ecostreamjet recognizes the importance of effecting change from within the industry. That’s why we are committed to transparency in the amount of carbon we reduce and offset each year, only use service providers (such as web hosting and printers) who use alternative energy to power their operations, and are actively involved with national environmental associations.

Ecostreamjet is a private jet travel brokerage company; we do not operate aircraft. All flights are operated by FAR Part 135 air carriers ("Operators"), and it is they who maintain full Operational Control of charter flights at all times. Operators providing service for Ecostreamjet must meet both FAA safety requirements and additional, more stringent standards established by Ecostreamjet.
